Hillary Smith, CMP, CSEP brings over 10 years of event design and meeting management experience to the Koncept Events team. While her primary focus is in relationship retention and new business development, Ms. Smith’s greatest strengths lie in providing creative solutions for unique event design and formulating effective options that maximize each client’s budget. Smith was awarded 2007 Bizbash Planner of the Year and was named as a Finalist for 2008 Event Solutions Spotlight Award for Event Planner of the Year East.

ANGIE NELSONWith over 10 years of brand marketing and event coordination experience, Angela Nelson is the operations and logistical genius behind Koncept Events’ growing success. Her extensive background in performance based team management has allowed her to effortlessly spearhead the KE team providing flawless execution, without fail, program after program. Ms. Nelson’s greatest strength is her ability to look beyond a challenge, evaluate risk and see clearly to the best solution available for our client. Turk’s background in customer relations and project management has allowed her the ability to proactively anticipate challenges and diffuse them before they occur. She is meticulous and thorough in her work and is a hand’s on team player who gets the job done with a smile. Whether organizing an experiential event for 5,000 people or loading a box truck at the end of a program, Turk is a true professional who remains focused on effectively completing the task at hand.

Enthusiasm, Energy and Passion goes a long way and Christina Torrey manages to exude all three both effortlessly and genuinely. Don’t let her non-stop smile and calm composure fool you, this girl gets it done and isn’t afraid to take charge! She is organized, meticulous, accountable and throws herself completely into her work always giving more than 100%. An Interior Design graduate from Florida State University, Torrey brings her trained eye and creative flare to the growing team at Koncept Events.

With years of non-profit event planning under her belt, Carlyn Mele has switched gears and is taking the corporate world by storm at Koncept Events! Her “cool, calm and collected” attitude allows her to effectively manage not only her time but the client’s budget and a multitude of details without breaking a sweat. Mele shines and is fearless when faced with the ocassional challenge or obstacle. She is most definitely the one that you want next to you in the “trenches” whether it be at the airport with arrivals of 500 or leading the set up crew on an integral decor production. With more than 11 years in event planning, Courtney brings her diverse background in large scale outdoor events and corporate event planning to Koncept Events. Courtney’s energy, enthusiasm and project management skills make her the go to planner for all things complex. With a ‘no event is impossible’ attitude, she uses her abilities to create flawless events while keeping a smile on her face and a charming character which allows for perfect execution at critical moments. Throughout her career she has managed multiple clients and multiple events simultaneously and has developed a keen sense of anticipating a client’s need. Detailed, creative, efficient and dynamic are just a few words that describe Kendall. After graduating cum laude with a degree in event management, Kendall spent 2 years with a boutique furniture rental company before joining Koncept Events. Her professional background, “bargain-shopper” mentality and “find a needle in a haystack” research skills allow Kendall to create customized proposals and cutting edge event concepts for KE clients. Kendall is definitely “Rising Star” at KE as well as in the events industry.

With a degree in accounting, you can usually find Megan at her desk with multiple spreadsheets on her computer screens. She is crucial in keeping Koncept Events’ internal procurement system running smooth. Also acting as Office Manager, Megan provides support for our team and maintains order within KE by communicating with all departments.
