Teambuilding at Disney

Land O’Lakes hired Koncept Events to create a customized teambuilding event at Disney’s Epcot Center in Orlando, Florida. KE separated the group of 100 into 10 teams of 10 by colored team t-shirts (as pictured). The teams were given instructions by a KE facilitator and let lose in Epcot in a race against time and each other. The overall scavenger hunt type activity took 2 hours and ended with a private dinner in an event space within Disney. After dinner, guests watched the fireworks show and were able to spend an hour of free-time in the park before departing for their hotel. Super fun was had by all!

Koncept Events just successful completed a 650-person full-scale and detail-intensive transportation and logistics program at the Swan & Dolphin in Orlando, FL. If arrivals and departures for 650 International, none English-speaking guests isnt enough, flawlessly orchestrating and executing nightly dine-arounds for up to 8 consecutive groups isnt a piece of cake either. “But that part wasn’t really the challenge” says Angie Nelson, KE Partner and lead on the program, “ the challenge came when the general session ended an hour early and we had 650 guests floading into the lobby ready to go to dinner. Not only were the restaurants not ready for them but the buses weren’t scheduled to spot for another 30 minutes.” Thankfully, with a  keen sense of urgency and a few quick phone calls, Nelson got her team in gear and was able to deliver the buses 15 minutes ahead of schedule AND had the restaurants ready with doors open to welcome guests upon their early arrival.

This Pharmaceutical Company, including all divisions” Latin America, South America, USA and Canada, was more than pleased with KE’s performance and ability to be meet the needs of last minute changes and requests. Thanks to our PHENOMINAL KE team as well as local contractors….we are on point and scheduled as their DMC moving forward with this program happening next year in Las Vegas. Nice job!

Dont have a huge budget but need a high impact performance that resonate with ANY audience….?? No problem for Koncept Events! When presented with this challenge, we knew the pressure was on so we called our trusted “go to” guy for unique and creative entertainment. We knew what our client wanted and what they wanted to spend, we communicated this to our vendor and within 24 hours, we had found more than the solution our client needed to WOW their 700 guests! Koncept Events was able to secure a 95-piece marching band and 25 cheerleaders to “march” (no pun intended) right into the center of their Super Bowl Sports themed cocktail reception. I get the goosebumps just thinking about the faces of their guests as they began to hear “we will, we will ROCK YOU…” coming out of no where…then suddenly this flood of uniforms and instruments invades the event….the guests were in awe. The cheerleaders broke into their high energy dance routines and all together all 115 performers faded into their own rendition of Michael Jackson’s Thriller! It was one of those moments in your career when you just know you nailed it! They guests were cheering, the clients and even the hotel staff were engaged in the music and rocking along to their beats. HIGHLY recommend this for any group looking for something that will captivate the masses!!! Oh, and Koncept Events has already done 1 additional event for this client and is slated for yet another in January…i can safely say we “marched” into a long-term partnership and earned the trust of this client for year’s to come!

Check out this custom lampshade centerpiece!!! We can do this with ANY LINEN or FABRIC, this mock up was done to show a rich vintage look for a gala event. They didnt want to spend a lot of money on florals but wanted impact…we used a clear glass vase as the base of the lamp accented with minimal flowers and candles on the table just to add a touch of warmth and elegance. This piece can be customized in any way, we can put orchids or other florals inside the clear glass base to add color, hang crystals inside to add glitz or fringe to the rim of the shade…the possibilities on customization are endless. We used this look for another event and did the lampshades in the corporate colors of blue with a black ribbon accent. Even the shade size and shape can change to make this look modern or to adapt to smaller, cocktail size tables. 5ft lampshades are available and can be hung from the ceiling to add major drama to any event!!!

Our hard-working KE team just finished 4 Product Activation events for Cover Girl in Baltimore! 2 took place at the Orioles stadium,1 at the Susan G Komen Race, 1 at the Best of Baltimore VIP event which highlights brands that call Baltimore home. Koncept Events was hired to manage the logistics and execution of these events as well as the overall design of the spaces which had to be in line with the brand and product message set forth by CG. KE also attained an A+ crew of make up artists and brand ambassadors to help effectively communicate the CG brand to all consumers! Our next events with Cover Girl are already scheduled and solidified for Dallas and again in Baltimore both in November…a very successful and exciting partnership indeed!
